Some Good Reads

Today has been a quiet and peaceful rainy day, which makes it the perfect
day to snuggle under a blanket and read a good book, all while sipping
a hot cup of tea! :)

There are a couple of books that I wanted to share with all of you that I think
many of you would really enjoy!

1.  The One and Only: Emily Giffin

This is the story of a middle-aged woman named Shea from a small Texas town
that is so set in her ways of what she finds to be "normal" and routine in her life.  She
is kind of afraid to try something new because of the risk of not knowing what it will be like.
She soon learns though that things are not always as the appear to be, even when you have been in the same routine for your whole life.

I have to say, this was not my favorite book by Giffin, but I still did enjoy it and would
encourage you to try it!!

2.  Keep Calm and Carry a Big Drink: Kim Gruenenfelder

This is what I am currently reading right now, but I wanted to share this
with you because right now I am totally loving it!

Mel is a young single lady, who lives with one of her best friends as she tries
to make ends meet as a math teacher (especially when her job is on the line due to budget cuts).
I am not that far into it and don't want to ruin anything for anyone, but I am really liking it so far!!

Summer is starting to slip away from us and I hope to squeeze in a few more books
before school starts up again!!

What are you reading this summer?!  I would love to hear!! :)

Monday Inspiration

Hello all!

This Friday is the last day of my online English class and I am so excited!
It will be nice to have some more free time and do things for myself.
Hello manicures and sunshine! :)

Anyways, here are some things that I am obsessing over:

1.  Tory Burch: The Perry Tote
I think that this would be the perfect bag for any working woman
or for that woman who carries around a lot of stuff in her purse.
What I mean to say is that this purse if perfect for every woman on the planet.

2. Lilly Pulitzer Skirts

Found here.
She has so many more designs so be sure to check them out!

3. Vera Bradley Backpacks

I just got mine and it is the greatest backpack I have ever owned.
I own so many Vera products it's crazy, but at the same time
I know that her products are high quality so I had no doubt I was
going to fall in love with this backpack!
This backpack holds so much and as a science major who has about
5-6 textbooks per semester that are at least 500 pages, that is saying a lot!
Hurry though!!  This backpack is on sale!! :)

4. Decorative Pillows
These are the perfect statement pieces to add to any room.

I may or may not be developing a pillow fetish... ;)

Here are a few other links for fun!

A yummy looking flatbread recipe.

If money grew on trees, I would go for these David Yurman bracelets.

Hope you have a great day!!

Hello all!!
A long overdue post is finally coming your way!
After a really long semester at school, I am finally on break and fully
enjoying every single minute second of it!!

And of course, Happy New Year!! :)

I thought today I would share some of my favorite layered looks
as it is extremely cold here!!

I have got to figure out a way to make money grow on trees... ;)
Many fall and winter essentials that I would love to own.  I  have an
obsession with clothes.  And shoes.  And jewelry.  And makeup.  And hairstyles.
But I digress.  ;)

I hope all of you enjoyed your holiday seasons and that your new year is off to
a wonderful start!! :)

Remember to do something fun and relaxing today!
